call me nad

8th march 2008

second post of the night.

i was sitting at the table eating pineapples when i saw a photo of my late grandma. my mum doing some house cleaning, that explains why the photo was on the dining table.

well, that was the first time i looked at her photo after almost three months she passed away. reason being i am already reminded enough of her. every night before sleep, i make time to recite prayers for her well-being in the afterworld, as well as for my late brother and family members whom i know. never once in the past months did i miss reciting prayers for them no matter how sleepy i am.

u left while we were holidaying in bangkok. and when we were back home, i could feel having u in the house and sometimes, to certain places i go. i wasnt afraid if u were to appear in front of me in a heavenly state. i mean i would have cried and hugged u, just like how u gave me the last hug and kiss on the cheeks on hari raya haji.

and as time passed by, u are never forgotten for there was a time when an old lady approached me. asking me if i could lend my hand and help her walk to the bus stop. i gladly offered my hand just like how i support my grandma when she was around. i was happy to listen to the old lady telling me about her children, just like how my grandma used to tell me stories about her children and stuff. and i thought the incident was like a re-enactment of the past. how perfect. =)

i dreamt twice about you. the first was something like i was trying to console my crying grandma and saying "janganlah nangis. kita[i was referring to myself and my sister] kan ade."

and as i go to places, im reminded of fond memories with you then. especially the morning breakfast outside. i have got plans to bring u out breakfast after i came back from bangkok even before i left, and maybe thats my only regret.

i could still vividly remember how i eagerly wanted to get home from school during secondary years and bring home old chang kee for you. ash knows im always eager to go home or at least be home whenever i can.

the list goes on. theres just so much i can tell about my late grandma. but one thing, a pang of guilt hit me for the mistake i committed [refer to previous post]. i dont know whether she would be angry or would she feel sad for history repeats itself. i can imagine her cry.

the long wait is killing me.
